An American classic, named after a British town, the "Henley". Duckworth updates the traditional silhouette by crafting it from a patented high-performance Vapor Wool fabric, a lightweight, ultra fast drying standard piece of gear for every mans wardrobe. The heathered tri-blend fabric looks great hanging out and can serve double duty when needed to jump into action. Wool's anti-microbial so there is no stink and this summer weight wool fabric has all natural stretch with no added lycra, the wool is 100% grown in Montana on the Helle ranch and the custom yarn is knit and sewing entirely in the USA. The difference between our Hi-Line shirt and all others is a our custom fabric - as you already know we don’t buy stock fabric. We start with Montana grown Helle Rambouillet merino (softness and stretch), and blend it with domestic polyester to reduce weight and add more loft. We build a modified fleece knit on the inside and smooth finish on the outside. The knitting and finishing of this fabric is complex; we make only a limited quantity every year.
Soft, warm and surprisingly light with a smooth exterior finish, the shirt is brushed the inside and has slight stretch. Relaxed fit is designed to be worn as an overshirt.
The WoolCloud Full Zip Hoody is filled with lightweight Duckworth Woolcloud insulation inside a shell of 40 denier rip-stop Polyester. A paneled hood, two large hand pockets and a full zip front make this jacket a versatile layering piece that's light in weight and warm enough, thanks to the high-performance ingredient of lightweight wool fill, to wear as an outerwear jacket. The natural wool fill will not clump, or pack like down over time and is extremely breathable. Sport fit - roomy enough to layer under, slim enough to fit under a shell as necessary.
