Duckworth has turned the traditional T-shirt into a great looking rock-star. High performance, patented Vapor Wool fabric is lightweight, no-stink, and ultra fast drying. The heathered tri-blend fabric looks great hanging out or being put to the test in any demanding outdoor condition. Tested by Montana high-alpine ranchers at 9500 feet (where the merino wool is grown) it’s their favorite piece of gear for months of continuous wear. Wool is anti-microbial, so there is no stink, and this summer weight wool fabric has all natural stretch with no added lycra. The Merino wool is 100% grown in Montana, on the Helle ranch, and the custom yarn is knit and sewn entirely in the USA. Get ’em while they last.

Love my Vapor Tee. If there was a black option, I’d get another one!

These are hands down the best shirts I have ever worn, I own about 10 of them. I have them mostly in the spruce and gray. I purchased 1 midnight shirt which the color is great but the sizing is really off. I tried to reach out to customer service to see if I could return because I think the shirt itself is a L and not an XL.

As a professional river guide who spends work and play time in the elements of southwest Montana I love this tee. It keeps the stink down inherent with river gear and is soft, comfortable and really lightweight in the heat.

Great shirt. This is one of my core shirts for my extended travel. It is just an amazing shirt for those that travel or just want a nice shirt for around the house.

I travel abroad for 1-2 months at a time and try to bring a minimal amount with me, this shirt makes that possible. It doesn’t require a lot of washing, keeps a nice shape, doesn’t wrinkle and dries quickly.

The cut is also excellent. I am 6`3 and around 215. The XL is an excellent fit and not too baggy. Other shirts tend to be too tight in a L and oversized and boxy in an XL. Duckworth first perfectly for me.

Just purchased the Pocket T version and its great as well.

I travel a lot for work and I have found this shirt to be my goto travel shirt. It keeps me warm and cool on the airplane. For those long cross country flights I know my shirt won’t stink. Seriously a must for any air traveler.

This is by far the most comfortable and versatile T-shirt in my closet. This tee can go straight from an undershirt at the office to the trails or the gym, and its fit and style is perfect for a night out as well. I’ve had this shirt for about five months with dozens of washes and it has perfectly kept its form and soft feel. I used to buy several packages of those 100% cotton t-shirts every year — now I know that a guy only needs a few quality wool blended tees. Thanks Duckworth.

Well duckworth you have done it!! This shirt is my favorite of all time. I have two and seem to wear them all the time, they are so soft and strong I’m a guy who has worked outside all my life and on my spare time am always outdoors. This can either be a base layer when it gets a little chilly or a stand alone when the temps reach a hundred. Fantastic product I will buy more of your products.

Just received my shirts, and promptly ordered 2 more. The fit is spot on, and they’re incredibly comfortable. These are the second set of wool T-shirts I’ve owned, and they feel lighter weight than the Icebreakers I had before (a good thing for what I need – the Icebreakers I had before were too warm for India/SE Asia).

I will have to see how they do on durability and cleanliness this year, but based on my previous experience, these look to be as good or even better. Thanks DW for a great shirt!

Whenever I’m out and about in the woods or the hills, my next-to-skin top is always a technical short-sleeved T-shirt. In a technical Ts, there are three things you want the most: 1) you want your T-shirt to wick sweat and wetness away from your skin, 2) you want it to be comfortable, light, and breathable, 3) you want it to look good, and smell good, not just when you buy it, but after repeated washings.

These are tall orders for a single T-shirt, and having tried about every type of wool, synthetic, and blended ‘technical’ T-shirts over the years, from myriad different brands, I can tell you I’ve never been completely happy with any of them, because there are always trade-offs. For instance, almost any synthetic, plastic-based T-shirt will tolerate more abrasions, more rubbing against pack straps and waist belts, and more general abuse, and more washings, than wool T-shirts, but they’re clammy against the skin, and they really start to stink and feel slimy after a succession of sweaty days. Also, their antimicrobial treatments invariably wear off and they just stink, period. Pure wool t-shirts, on the other hand, wick just as well or better, don’t feel as clammy as synthetic shirts, hardly ever smell bad, and look good if they’re well made, but they’re delicate. They’re easily abraded by straps and belts, they become threadbare over time, and god forbid you forget to separate your wool T-shirts from the rest of your clothes when you throw them in the drier, because you’ll end up with a T-shirt to fit a toddler.

The Vapor T is almost too good to be true, in these respects, because Duckworth has created a wool blend that is cotton-soft to the touch, feels soft on your torso, wicks moisture easily away from one’s sweaty bod, and stinks minimally, maybe not as minimally as pure wool does, but a lot less than complete synthetics do. The wick without the stank, but with durability = remarkable! Also, the Vapor T looks good every time I put it back on, and every time after I wash it, and I don’t notice any pilling or damage after lots of use with a backpack. I’ve been too afraid to put it in the dryer, but it dries on the line quickly and it’s soft when I take it off the line.

In summary, this is the best technical T-shirt I’ve ever worn, and the fact that it’s made in the USA from Montana wool just makes it cooler, but from a performance and comfort standpoint, compared to any pure wool, synthetic, or blended T-shirts, it’s just better. Will check in again after a winter of wearing it under all my ski clothes and tell you how it’s faired.

As seen on Backpacker.com: “I love it when my hiking shirt is as comfortable as my PJs,” says our Northwest tester. The heathered fabric has the classic feel of your favorite worn-in cotton tee, but the poly/wool/cellulose blend breathed well and dried fast on desert hikes down the Grand Canyon’s North Kaibab Trail. Testers found themselves wearing this one to summer barbeques almost as much as on the trail. Eco credit: The tri-blend uses sustainable wool from Duckworth’s Montana ranch and recycled polyester.

As seen on Activejunky.com: “This brand’s turned the obvious into the extraordinary without flash or lots of cash required. As with a meritage wine that stirs good stuff together for a superior outcome, Duckworth has mastered the art of blending. Start with family-raised Helle Ramouillet fine merino. Mix in 50% recycled polyester and 12% Modal for wicking, shape retention and durability. Buy at least two to prevent Vapor from vanishing off your body when one’s in the wash.

Best For: Everybody, everywhere, no kidding.

    Key Attribute: Comfort”

I want to wear this shirt everyday! I own two and wear them rock climbing an as an everyday piece. Shirt fits a little tight on the neck but it actually became something I enjoyed for exercise. I normally wear a medium, and I did not get an any shrinkage am happy with the fit. I will be trying out the Maverick Tee soon!
