The Best Winter Workwear of 2019 - Outside Magazine

“Duckworth’s hardier take on the traditional shacket feels like a hug and protects like a shell. A dense wool weave repels wind, while the exceptionally soft brushed-polyester interior keeps warm air in.” By Outside Magazine

The difference between our Hi-Line shirt and all others is a our custom fabric – as you already know we don’t buy stock fabric. We start with Montana grown Helle Rambouillet merino (softness and stretch), and blend it with domestic polyester to reduce weight and add more loft. We build a modified fleece knit on the inside and smooth finish on the outside. The knitting and finishing of this fabric is complex; we make only a limited quantity every year.

Soft, warm and surprisingly light with a smooth exterior finish, the shirt is brushed the inside and has slight stretch. Relaxed fit is designed to be worn as an overshirt.

The Hi-Line shirt is 100% Made in USA from source-verified Montana-grown Merino wool.
