"Have had the green Polaris for over three years. It's my body shelter on all-season hikes, camping, and work-Sat. mornings in our cold school gym. Wear it for seriously weeks and NO odor. Seems to repel dirt. Stains come off with spot clean (water n clean rag). Looks almost like new--I wash it every few months in cold water on gentle and dries on a wooden rack. I LOVE it. So I got this new blue for rotation and the color seduced me. Slept in it right away cause the nights cool down in coastal Cali and I can leave it on through mid 70's. Same soft, invigorating fabric that temp regulates. Blue is gorgeous--better than pic."

"My second one--had the green for three years and wears well. Still looks good got blue to rotate. Both colors beauts. Like a body-shelter--temp regulates warms me at low 30's and stays on thru mid-70's. Neck-chest buttons help. Hood comfortable not too snug or loose. Lounged, hiked, camped all seasons in my green. Blue still same soft, invigoratin' cloth. Color even better in person."

Q&A

Are you going to be re-stocking the darker blue and red anytime soon?
We will not have these two colors this year but possibly next!
Does this shirt have thumb holes?
No thumbholes on this hoody!
I see the Polaris line is a wool/poly blend - why is it not recommended to wash on cold/gentle cycle? I always line dry all my pure merino and merino blend clothing, but machine wash per above and have had good results. Will there be significant shrinkage with this blend?
This fabric is slightly more fragile than the others due to snags and such which is why we recommend hand washing, however, it shouldn't shrink if machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle.
How does this weave hold up to snags? I have a hyper dig and garden with rose bushes.
The Polaris fabric does have a tendency to snag, but this doesn't affect the performance at all! We recommend when you do get a snag is to pull opposite sides of the fabric so that thread goes back into place and then snip off anything that is still protruding!
Does it have any pockets?
No pockets on this one!
