Where we come from, comfort in the right places matters.

Duckworth's Men's Vapor Brief keeps you comfortable where it counts with natural, Montana-grown Merino Wool spun and knit into our proprietary Vapor Wool fabric blend.

Our Vapor Wool is naturally antimicrobial (odor-free), itch-free, cooling, breathable, quick-drying, moisture-wicking, and oh-so comfortable. Vapor Briefs feature a functional fly and a brushed elastic waistline that's soft against skin and resists riding up.

Even in the most hot and humid conditions, these briefs are guaranteed to keep things dry and temperature regulated. American-made with American wool.

NEW FOR 2026: The vapor collection now features an updated vortex-spun yarn construction designed for greater durability, reduced pilling, and longer-lasting performance. This improvement strengthens the fabric while preserving its ultralight breathability and soft feel that continues to improve with wear and washing.

Please note: We cannot accommodate returns for opened briefs.

Reviews

Very comfy and made in Montana.

"Great briefs, very comfortable and quick drying. They fit slightly looser than I’d prefer but not enough to deter me from wanting to purchase more. Even though I don’t put them in the dryer, they do pill a little. Not a big deal. Love the American made sourcing and production, it keeps me coming back! Love to support local business and USA made products and especially the sheep to shelf system in the US!"

Briefly, these briefs work well

"I am a size 33 waist and Medium size worked fine. Large would be OK in the waist, but too loose around my thighs. I like Merino fabric for the heat management and lack of odor that is a negative with synthetic fibers. Cotton stays damp too long. I ise the briefs as everyday wear, every day."

Bunch and ride up

"I have a lot of Duckworth clothing and love all of it *except* the briefs. They bunch and ride up like crazy after a few washes."

DUCKWORTH IS AWESOME

"All of my Duckworth gear is the best of the best. And your business model sold me several years ago. Ranch to me just the way I like it. Under product use I selected other because I use it for everyday everything. But I started using it as a fly fishing guide, a hunter and a wannabe cowboy."

Rodney G. (5/5)

Great quality, loose fit

"The quality is excellent, like everything else I own from Duckworth. The fit is a bit looser than expected, when compared to other brands. I expected them to be form-fitting, but I’d describe them as fitting somewhere between boxer brief and boxer. I’ll just take this as a sign to do more squats."

"Very comfortable and true to size."

I bought one pair as

"I bought one pair as a ‘try it and see if I like it’. The jury is unanimous, it is a superb product. Fit, feel and function all were great. I’ll buy more!"

Robert H. (5/5)

Amazing

"Comfortable for warm and cool days. Feels great while running, does not climb up the leg. I use these for daily wear and whatever comes my way. Large was a good size with a 36in waist."

Q&A

Any ETA on black or charcoal being in stock? Pre order an option?
At this time, we do not have any specific restock dates for this item/color
Will you be restocking charcoal color for these and vapor tee?
We will not have a restock of the charcoal color for the remainder of the year, but we will have some other color options available!
Are they American made?
They sure are! All of our products on our website are Made in the US.
What size is the med and large ?
Our size guide is based off of waist measurements! A medium is 31-33 and a large is 34-36
Waist sizing - I am a 33-34” waist in most clothing. Being between your M and L size, any recommendation for which to go with? Do they shrink up in the wash a bit?
Hi there, So I'm a 5'11", 175 lb man with a 32/33 waist, I have both Medium and Large. The reason for that is sometimes I like a snugger fit for athletic use, sometimes I like a looser fit for casual use. Really depends what you see yourself going for. They shouldn't shrink really, but remember to avoid putting them in hot water or a dryer! Hope this helps. Mike, Team DW
